Job description

Great immediate Full Time Career Opportunity for Experienced Field Service Cable Technicians in the Bronx, NY Area.
- This position is responsible for the installation, disconnection, and changes to broadband and digital cable, high speed data, digital telephony services and the installation of home networking solutions wired and wireless.
- All candidates are subject to a 5 Panel Drug screening and a comprehensive criminal background check including but not limited to: public record search, valid driver's license and performable DMV abstract, county criminal, multi-state/jurisdiction criminal records locator, state criminal, national sex offender, federal criminal, social media sources and previous employment verification (7 year work history). Applicants must include previous experience and contact information to be considered for the position. Resumes are recommended but not required. .
Requirements
1 year experience in Installation, provisioning and repairing telecommunication equipment • 1 year experience of Ethernet and TDM networks • Valid state driver's license applicable to state law • Good written and oral communication skills • Ability to persuade and use problem solving/conflict resolution skills • Ability to operate all tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner • Ability to lift 75 lbs • Ability to use wide variety of hand and power tools • Climb ladders up to 28 feet in height • Wear a variety of personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hard hats and safety vests for up to the full workday • Stairs: May ascend/descend numerous flights of stairs throughout day while carrying up to 50 lbs of parts and tools required for job • Knowledge of advanced test sets • Knowledge of networking • Knowledge of video
Required experience:
  • Cable or Satellite Installation: 1 year

Required license or certification:
  • Valid DL required
  • 7 Year Work History Verification
