Underground House Drop Installation Supervisor - Kenilworth NJ

From the initial planning and design through construction of the distribution plant, installations, proof-performance testing, on-going maintenance and more. Overview
The Supervisor will perform tasks associated with underground Cable TV. This position will assist the Construction Director in overseeing various aspects of house drop installations.
Responsibilities
• Daily Routing
• Assist crews in order to get their job done efficiently.
• QC 10% of finished work and supply to manager.
• Operate Forklift (training provided, if needed)
• Operate Company vehicle, following all safety and traffic regulations
• Maintain proper inventory in warehouse.
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Keep detailed record of work activity and send crew locations to local system.
• Any and all other duties assigned by the Manager
Qualifications
• Ability to endure long periods of standing, sitting, or walking.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work varied schedule (evening and weekends as needed)
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must be able to carry 75-80 lbs., to include an extension ladder.
• Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb and lift throughout work shift
• Work mandatory overtime as required
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Applicant will undergo a background, D.O.T. & MVR screenings
