In this role, you will:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, manual lathes, and waterjet machines with moderate supervision
  • Machine production and engineering parts while maintaining quality standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job documentation
  • Assist with machine setups, tooling changes, and fixture preparation
  • Perform preventative machine maintenance according to PM schedules
  • Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment
  • Load and make basic edits to CNC programs when required
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
  • Follow engineering instructions, SOPs, and quality procedures
  • Work closely with experienced machinists and supervisors to continuously improve machining processes
