Job Title: Subcontracted Advisor - CNC Programming
Pay Rate: $60.00-90.00 per hour (fixed weekly rate)
Subcontract Employment: 1099 or LLC
Location: Paid Travel to: Phoenix, AZ 85023
Shift: First and Flexible

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / CAM Expert with deep expertise in Esprit and Mastercam programming to support the manufacture of complex aerospace components. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience programming and troubleshooting multi-axis machining processes for critical aerospace applications, including blisks, stators, impellers, blades, and vanes.
Responsibilities Include:
* Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Esprit and Mastercam.
* Troubleshoot and resolve CAM programming failures, machining issues, and post-processor challenges.
* Create efficient toolpaths for complex aerospace geometries, including: Blisks, Stators, Impeller blades, Vanes, Airfoil components
* Perform machine-side support, including: Program prove-outs, First-article runs, Process validation, Cycle time optimization
* Troubleshoot machining issues on CNC equipment and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve manufacturability and process performance.
* Support delivery commitments through timely resolution of programming and machining challenges.
* Verify tooling, fixtures, machining strategies, and setup requirements.
* Ensure compliance with aerospace quality and process requirements
Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in CNC programming in a precision manufacturing environment.
* Advanced proficiency with Esprit CAM.
* Strong working knowledge of Mastercam programming and troubleshooting.
* Experience programming 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machining centers.
* Proven expertise machining complex aerospace components and airfoil geometries.
* Ability to troubleshoot programs from CAD/CAM through machine execution.
* Hands-on experience supporting machine prove-outs and shop floor troubleshooting.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Aerospace machining experience with Inconel, titanium, stainless steel, and nickel-based superalloys.
* Prior experience supporting Honeywell, OEM aerospace, or turbine engine programs.
Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $60.00 - $90.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
