Purpose & Scope:
This position supports the Lebanon Manufacturing Engineering team's mission and business plan objectives. Primary responsibilities include supporting manufacturing and assembly operations with additional collaboration across departments. The role involves managing production orders, implementing process changes, and updating materials and routes using various engineering systems.
 

Core Functions:

  • Release production orders in SAP.
  • Review and disposition Change Requests (CR) and Change Implementations (CI) in Teamcenter (Management of Change). 
  • Create Part Tracking Numbers (PTN) for process changes using the ESB system.
     

As-Needed Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with sister facilities (e.g., Shiloh, New Philadelphia) regarding process changes and new materials via email.
  • Take additional actions related to "Stop Work" Change Requests (CR): 
    • Change material statuses in SAP.
    • Create PTNs in the ESB system.
  • Update or create routes in Teamcenter.
  • Push updated routes from Teamcenter to SAP.
  • Close PTNs in the ESB system.
  • Deploy (make shop active) materials in SAP, including prototypes and reactivations.
  • Update and release materials in SAP.

General Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in manufacturing or related technical field preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). 
  • Strong technical proficiency required with SAP, Teamcenter and ESB systems.
  • Above-average mechanical aptitude and shop math skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to managing multiple tasks and competing priorities with strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Use both near/far vision and hearing. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Requires prolonged periods of sitting and/or walking frequently.
