Pay rate: $24.00- $27.36/hr (based upon experience)

If supporting and mentoring children and adolescents is your passion, then you’ll enjoy being a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at our Brandywine School located in West Chester, PA. You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Every day as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will:

  • Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of the children
  • Provide interventions to children with emotional support and behavioral health needs in a school setting
  • Deescalate and mitigate behaviors

The Brandywine School located in West Chester, PA offers education curriculum to children functioning at all grade levels. A multi-sensory educational strategy is used at all schools, employing traditional instruction, hands-on and independent learning, as well as technology, to individualize a student’s progress in all academic areas, particularly math and reading. The transition from school to career, and all of the necessary interrelated skills, are a main focus of the school program. Qualifications

EDUCATION: Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred. Dependent upon educational background (see above). Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills. 

Must be at least 21 years of age.
