Position Summary

The Google Ads Specialist at Leads Near Me is responsible for building, managing, and optimizing paid search campaigns across a portfolio of auto repair shop clients. The ideal candidate understands Google Ads from the ground up: campaign architecture, bidding strategy, quality score, conversion tracking, and reporting. They are comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously and know how to read data, make a call, and move quickly.


Key Responsibilities


Campaign Management

  • Build, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Performance Max, and Local Service Ads) across a portfolio of auto repair shop clients.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns on an ongoing basis including adjusting bids, budgets, ad copy, keywords, and targeting to maximize performance.
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research, search term analysis, and negative keyword management.

Ad Copy & Testing

  • Write and test ad copy variations to improve CTR and conversion rates.
  • Develop a consistent testing cadence to identify top-performing messages and apply learnings across accounts.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Set up and audit conversion tracking to ensure accurate performance data.
  • Analyze account performance and produce clear, client-ready reports with actionable takeaways.
  • Meet with clients virtually alongside the account management team to walk through results and set expectations.

Collaboration & Process

  • Coordinate with the web and SEO teams to ensure landing page alignment and campaign continuity.
  • Follow Leads Near Me campaign standards and internal processes consistently.
  • Stay current on Google Ads platform updates, beta features, and best practices, and apply them proactively.


Requirements


Education:

No specific degree required; relevant certifications preferred.

Experience:

2–4 years of hands-on Google Ads management experience, preferably in an agency environment managing multiple client accounts with varying budgets and goals.


Technical Skills:

  • Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, LSA)
