HR Payroll Coordinator for a Great Company located on the west side of Columbus/Hilliard area.

  • Flexible schedule: 30-40 hours/week.
  • Permanent/Direct Hire
  • Starting Pay Rate: $24-27/hr.


We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Payroll Coordinator to join our finance team in the Columbus/Hilliard area. This role involves managing timely and accurate payroll processing, ensuring compliance with labor and tax laws, and maintaining confidential employee records. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will work closely with a small payroll team and support essential payroll functions that uphold our company’s financial integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro
  • Calculate and process payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits contributions accurately
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS platforms including Kronos and PeopleSoft
  • Reconcile payroll data with accounting records using QuickBooks and general ledger systems
  • Prepare detailed payroll reports for management review
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Assist in year-end reporting processes such as W-2s and 1099s
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially and adhere to data entry protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in payroll management or corporate accounting involving payroll
