Job description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Utilizing Java as the backend technology to support dynamic and scalable component development; Creating and configuring content fragment, experience fragment, pages and marketing requirements using Adobe Experience Manager; Participating in Agile Scrum SDLC activities, including sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives; Managing content editing using Adobe Experience Manager's out-of-the-box and custom widgets; Coordinating with development, QA, and business analyst teams to test, build, and deploy components including Java, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Amazon Web Services (AWS); Developing utility projects using Spring Boot to automate data transfer processes to external layers; Designing and deploying Spring Boot applications across multiple environments using Amazon Web Services; Creating custom REST APIs to perform CRUD operations on files stored in Amazon S3 to ensure secure and efficient data handling; Integrating APIs with external applications for seamless data management.
