Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (UX/UI & AWS Connect)
Location: Englewood, CO (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in UX/UI design and AWS Connect to lead the design, development, and implementation of customer service and call center solutions. This hybrid role requires hands-on experience with AWS services, UI/UX tools, and third-party integrations to optimize both agent workflows and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive UX/UI solutions for IVR systems, chatbots, dashboards, and customer-facing tools.
- Develop AWS Connect contact flows and integrate with platforms like Salesforce or Zendesk.
- Use AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, Polly, and CloudWatch to build scalable, AI-powered call center solutions.
- Conduct user testing, prototyping, and iterative design based on performance data and user feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior designers and developers.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive ongoing improvements to user experience and operational KPIs.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years in UX/UI design and front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Connect and related services
- Proven expertise in designing for call centers and customer service tools
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Experience with serverless architecture and API integrations
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Amazon Lex, chatbots, and AI-powered virtual assistants
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Trello
- AWS Certifications (e.g., Developer, Solutions Architect)
- Understanding of customer service KPIs and behavior analytics
