Job description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a QA Engineer for our client in the Consulting domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Redmond, WA

Salary: $55.00-$60.00/Hourly

Role: QA Engineer

Primary Skills: Quality Assurance

Role Description: The QA Engineer must have 4+ years of experience.

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain test infrastructure for a multi-platform (mobile, web) product that will be used to validate all aspects of the product.

- Work alongside other Quality assurance engineers (QAE’s) to design, develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans and manual test cases to validate new features.

- Support automation frameworks that work across a wide range of Amazon devices with software configuration management (SCM) to establish a continuous build and test cycle.

- Leverage the existing automation framework to design, create and maintain an automated regression test suite.

- Create and report test execution status summary along with defect information.

Basic Qualifications:

- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

- Experience in automation testing

- Experience in manual testing

- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium

- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
