Job description

Job Title: Printer Technician /Technical Support
Location: Onsite in Pensacola, FL
Pay Rate: Open to Both C2C and W2 options 
Basic Purpose:
To produce high volume, priority copies on a deadline basis for the Business Units and entire organization staff. To maintain print production equipment in working order.  Perform basic bindery functions and operate bindery equipment under supervision.  Package and prepare print jobs for delivery  Performs under direct supervision.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•    Experience operating and maintaining various bindery equipment
•    Basic knowledge of printing related bindery functions
•    Ability to interpret printing specifications and prioritize 
•    Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
•    Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
•    Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and set priorities
•    Ability to work independently and in a team environment
•    Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
•    Effective skill interpreting and applying oral and written instructions
•    Basic skill with Adobe Acrobat , Microsoft Suite, and associated programs
•    High school education or equivalent
Desired Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•    High school education or equivalent
•    Exposure to operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining a digital printer-copier press, large format printer, laminator, and various bindery and finishing equipment
•    Familiarity with various grades and weights of paper, vinyl, and other print materials
•    Ability to interpret and understand client printing specifications, requirements, and expectations
•    Software skills including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro
Working Conditions:
Employee will be operating in a warehouse environment with exposure to loud machinery. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
