Internal Admissions Director

At Good Shepherd Village, we're committed to providing exceptional care and service to our residents and their families. As an Internal Admissions Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and personalized admission process, building strong relationships with our residents, and contributing to the overall success of our community.

Job Summary:
The Internal Admissions Director is responsible for coordinating the admission process, communicating with prospective residents and their family members, and ensuring customer satisfaction after admission. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the admission process, ensuring a seamless transition for new residents

  • Communicate with prospective residents and their family members to address questions and concerns

  • Ensure customer satisfaction after admission and communicate with residents after discharge

  • Coordinate community tours, as applicable, and build relationships with local hospitals and referral sources

  • Maintain and manage insurance authorizations, track admission data, and implement into tracking spreadsheets

  • Perform minor travel, as required, and update facility social media pages

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in admissions or a related field

  • Preferred associate's degree or higher in Business Administration or a similar field

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

  • Pay will be based on experience ranging from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
