Job description

Admissions Sales Representative.

Location: Anchorage, AK (In Person).
Full-Time | $28.85 per hour | Non-Exempt.

About the Role:
Charter College is seeking an energetic, goal-driven Admissions Representative to join our Anchorage team. We are specifically looking for candidates who live in Alaska and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.
The Admissions Representative is responsible for responding to prospective student inquiries (phone, internet, and other sources), conducting admissions interviews, and enrolling qualified students. This role requires strong sales ability, relationship-building skills, and the professionalism to guide prospective students through an important life decision.

This position reports to the Director of Admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and manage inbound and outbound inquiries.
  • Conduct admissions interviews (phone, video, and in-person).
  • Build rapport with prospective students and assess career goals.
  • Enroll qualified applicants in accordance with college and federal guidelines.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects.
  • Generate personally developed leads through referrals and networking.
  • Meet daily and weekly call, appointment, and enrollment goals.
  • Accurately document all activity in CampusVue.
  • Ensure enrollment files are complete and compliant.
  • Adhere to accrediting agency and U.S. Department of Education regulations.
  • Participate in admissions meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of Admissions Representative (sales) experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high call volume in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, databases, and internet applications.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet performance goals.
  • Punctual, professional, and team-oriented.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
Schedule:
Varied shifts Monday–Friday:
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
  • 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
Occasional Saturday:
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
