Job description

Our team is seeking aย part-timeย Mental Health Practitionerย to work the weekend shifts. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care and support to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorder.ย 

You will work alongside a team of professionals to provideย services in the areas of mental health, co-occurring disorders, monitoring medication compliance, and independent living skills.ย If youโ€™re someone who brings both empathy and professionalism โ€” and youโ€™re looking for a role where your presence truly matters โ€” then apply today!

Responsibilities

  • Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
  • Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
  • Monitors medication compliance and report any side effects.
  • Facilitateย residential program activities, classes and groups
  • Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
  • Responds appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
    • 1 year (2000 hours) experience working with adults with a severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
    • Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of MN.
    • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

    Pay: $25.11 - $30.13 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
