Job description

Starting Pay: $16/hour

Hours: average 28-32 hours a week, (must be available from 1pm-6:45pm)

We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and highly organized School Administrative Manager to join our childcare and martial arts school team.

This position works alongside our Site Director and focuses primarily on the administrative and customer service side of our school. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who works well independently, communicates effectively, and enjoys working with children, families, and staff.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to parents, students, and prospective families
  • Manage enrollment, billing, and parent communication through our school software
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student and childcare records
  • Ensure required children’s files and documentation remain complete and current
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate the ordering of supplies
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative operations of the school
  • Build positive relationships with parents, students, and staff
  • Help provide leadership and support to staff as needed
  • Assist with transporting school-age children in a company vehicle (when needed)
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, attractive, and safe school environment
  • Follow all applicable childcare health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Help oversee school operations in the Site Director’s absence
  • Assist the Owner, Director and Site Director with other duties as needed

Requirements & Preferred Experience

  • Must be at least 25 years old
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet company requirements for transporting children
  • Must be able to pass required background checks
  • Dependable, responsible, and highly organized
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable learning and using computer-based enrollment, billing, and communication software
  • Experience in childcare, office administration, business, or customer service preferred

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. when assisting with children or supplies
