Administrative Manager

We are partnering with a highly respected firm within the financial services space to find an Administrative Manager to lead and develop a large administrative team in their Houston office.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong operational leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, driving consistency, and creating an exceptional support function for senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will oversee approximately 40 administrative professionals, acting as a key liaison between leadership, employees, and business operations.


The Role

As Administrative Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance, and development of a large administrative team. You will drive best practices, ensure outstanding service delivery across the business, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 40 administrative professionals
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and career development discussions
  • Manage staffing levels, team coverage, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training for new team members
  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand support needs and ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Handle employee relations matters, performance management, and conflict resolution as needed
  • Develop and implement administrative processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Monitor team productivity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ensure consistent standards and service levels across the administrative function
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership on talent development and succession planning
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture

  • Significant experience managing administrative professionals within a corporate environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range $180 - $220k, dependent on experience
