The Administrative Assistant position (Day Shift/Night Shift) will be responsible for day-to-day Project Management support activities in support of the ongoing work at the Savannah River Site, located at Aiken, SC. The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Project Managers and will provide administrative support and coordination during all phases of the project.
 
  • Savannah River Site, located in Aiken SC
  • Work schedule - 10 hours M-F
  • Construction Site Location 
  • Report to work Fit For Duty (FFT)
 
What You'll Do Here: 
  • Ensure timely onboarding of new personnel
  • Ensure communications to onboard staff is delivered and received
  • Support weekly timekeeping for site personnel
  • Accurately track manual and non-manual schedules (days worked/days off)
  • Assist in preparation of daily/weekly cost and schedule reports
  • Aid in communications between home office and site management
  • Help coordinate site procurement and deliveries as required
  • Administer client issued equipment
  • Collect, and verify daily labour timesheets for payroll entry and processing
  • Perform all payroll duties such as verifying and submitting all timesheets, audit reports, prepare new employee packages and termination/layoff forms
  • Accurately report/audit employees time worked/not worked during project
  • Perform internal and external, verbal and written status/turnover reports
  • Perform all administrative and clerical duties for the site team
  • Maintain documents for received materials, Safety, QA/QC, labour qualifications and certifications, training, etc
  • Order office and sundries supplies as required on site
  • Maintain files and project documentation as required
 
What You Bring To The Team:
  • Prior Nuclear experience preferred
  • Past experience as project assistant preferred (5 years)
  • Good communication, organizational and administrative skills are essential     Maintain a professional demeaner in all aspects of the project as an Aecon-Wachs employee
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe, records management)
 
Citizenship Requirement:
This position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations. As a result, applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet eligibility and security clearance requirements.
