Monterrey Tile, a leader in the tile and stone industry. We are currently looking for Part-Time HR Assistant to join our team at our Chandler, AZ location.

  • $25 an hour
  • Part-Time, 24 hours per week!
  • Company-paid benefits for employees after 90 days

We are looking for an organized and friendly HR Assistant to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This role will help with recruiting, onboarding, and supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle. This position will play a key role in delivering a positive candidate and employee experience while providing administrative support to the Human Resources department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with job postings, review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening, background checks, and assist preparing offer letters
  • Ensure all onboarding new-hire paperwork is accurate and complete, create new hire packets and create file folders.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, assist with the training required tracking, performance evaluations and employee acknowledgments.
  • Create benefit packets and assist with special projects and department initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff and managers while supporting day-to-day HR operations and administrative functions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–3 years in Human Resources, recruiting, or HR administration.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems experience preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of keeping strict confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude, reliable, and willing to support a team-oriented environment.
