Job Opportunity: Aeromedical Administrative Specialist
Location: Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia
Start Date: Upon Contract Award / Phase-In Completion
Schedule: Full-time, with part-time Co-Work options available
Make a Difference Behind the Mission
Are you the person who keeps a program's paperwork, data, and reporting on track without being asked twice? Do you want your administrative skill to directly support nearly 70,000 Air Force Reservists?
French Consulting is seeking an Aeromedical Administrative Specialist to support program administration, reporting, and unit customer service for the Aerospace and Operational Medicine Division at Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base. You'll be the administrative backbone behind the case managers processing cases every day.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents, and review and finalize documents drafted by others.
  • Complete required monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports on case processing metrics, data quality, and unit case load.
  • Perform clerical and administrative work, including building databases, spreadsheets, and graphics using standard office software.
  • Support command evaluation of physical examination statistics to help ensure timely case resolution.
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of division training sessions.
  • Provide day-to-day advice and assistance to medical personnel across 69 reserve units and three Numbered Air Forces.
  • Receive telephone calls and return messages within two duty days of receipt.
  • Review and process incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, and directives, screening items for escalation, referral, or direct handling.
  • Coordinate activities with the Aeromedical Consult Service, Recruiting Services, and other referring facilities.
  • Update case-related data entry across ECT, AIMWTS, PEPP, and other systems of record outside standard case actions.
  • Some Aeromedical Administrative Specialist positions are part-time Co-Work billets, committed at up to 19 hours a week and rotating with other Co-Work staff for scheduling flexibility, with the potential for additional hours if surge work is authorized.
Who You Are
  • You keep a report on schedule even when six other things are competing for your afternoon.
  • You write clearly enough that a commander doesn't have to call and ask what you meant.
  • You answer the phone like the person on the other end is the only thing on your desk.
  • You spot the item that needs escalating instead of letting it sit in the inbox.
Qualifications
Required
  • Working knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire proficiency in, DoD and Air Force medical systems of record such as ECT, AIMWTS, and PEPP.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, unit leadership, and Major Command staff.
  • Proficiency with PDF software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), including building spreadsheets and reports.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1 background investigation or equivalent.
Preferred
  • Prior administrative or program-support experience in a military or federal health care setting.
  • Experience producing recurring management reports or metrics packages.
Education & Certifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus demonstrated administrative, data-entry, or program-support experience; this is a non-clinical role and the PWS does not require a health-related degree or license.
Desired
  • Associate's degree or higher in health administration, business administration, or a related field.
Why You'll Love It Here
  • You'll be the connective tissue for a program that keeps nearly 70,000 reservists medically ready.
  • Full-time or part-time Co-Work schedules available, Monday through Friday within 0800 to 1600 Eastern; full-time staff receive federal holidays and Family/Down Days off.
  • On-site at Robins Air Force Base, with situational telework available once approved.
  • A role where your organizational skills are the whole point, not an afterthought.
Ready to Join Us?
If you're ready to put your organizational skills to work supporting Air Force Reservists, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and bring your accuracy, reliability, and dedication to a team that depends on it.
