Open:  May 2nd, 2023   Close: May 12th, 2023 @8AM

General Summary:

Support Team members with multiple procurement administration activities.  Coordinate all purchasing related activities between KIA GEORGIA and Automobile Parts suppliers. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES ( including but not limited to accountabilities below):

Coordinate area operations including phone coverage, mailings, scheduling meetings and rooms, parts storage /WAR/Conference room maintenance, maintaining office supplies, and supporting external visitors.

Coordinate administrative services and office management duties including typing letters and reports, departmental logs, VAATZ EO reporting, amortized asset management, PD records, and files.

Organize and maintain Manager’s filing/distribution of files to appropriate personnel.

Maintain filing of all reports, documents, team member information.  Department Lead for disposal of records according to retention guidelines.

Coordinate travel arrangements.  Track, monitor, and report department travel.

Monitor and process financial transactions using Report Approval/Autoway/SAP.

Maintain department calendar including all meetings, activities, vacation, other.

Ensure departmental compliance with ISO / TS16949 including periodic audits.

Maintain supplier contact database.  Mandatory updates quarterly.

QUALIFICATIONS and JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Competencies):

  • Associate’s degree in Business or related field along with z ero (0) to (2) years’ experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Automotive experience preferred.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Experience with SAP system preferred.
  • Experience with TS16949 or ISO14001.
