Job description

The Assistant Caregiver reports to the Program Director and is supervised by a Certified Caregiver in order to assist residents with their activities of daily living in the Assisted Living community. Assistant Caregivers provide support to Certified Caregivers by helping with new move-ins, discharges, transfers, interacting with residents and answering call lights as well as other customer service-related requests. Assistant Caregivers do not administer, assist with or document medications and therefore do not require a certification.
