The University of the Cumberlands Facilities Services Admin reports directly to the Director of Facilities & Safety Operations and provides administrative support to the Facilities & Safety Department. This position assists with daily operational functions, financial processing support, event scheduling coordination, and general office administration to ensure efficient workflow within the Division of Facilities & Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and distribute the daily campus event schedule
  • Assist with the maintenance and accuracy of the University event calendar
  • Serve as back-up issuer of purchase order (PO) numbers in the absence of designated staff
  • Process invoices as assigned and assist with financial documentation
  • Cross-train on door access and card permission systems to provide support as needed
  • Provide general office administrative support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries
  • Assist with record keeping and document management
  • Support operational projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment
