As a Preschool Admin Assistant , you will:
 
  • Be handling computer systems and must be technology savvy. 
  • Must be a quick learner and problem solver. Manage staff and handle parent queries and find solutions promptly.
  • Has some experience or knowledge to run school or childcare administration.
  • Be able to take full care of orders/supplies, inventory auditing, record maintaining and curriculum orders.
  • Be able to contribute to digital media marketing efforts as needed. Social media posts.
  • Help the Director take turns in responding to any emails/phone calls and any parent communication when the director is busy with tours or families.
  • Be highly dependable and flexible in closing or opening the center along with the Director.
  • Be responsible doing the floor as needed. Going to any classroom and helping teachers during breaks or call outs.
  • Be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for babies.

Do You Have:
 
  • A genuine passion for the education and care of children and babies?
  • Atleast 2+ years of professional teaching experience in a childcare facility and caring for infants , toddlers or preschoolers?  2+ years of experience in a school admin role.
  • CPR and first aid certification?
  • Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirement?
    • CDA Credential: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the Council for Professional Recognition is a common requirement.
    • Associate's Degree: An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is another option.
    • Technical Certificates/Diplomas: A Technical College Diploma (TCD) or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development also meets the requirement.
    • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree, especially in Early Childhood Education, is another acceptable qualification.
    • Other Credentials: In some cases, 25 quarter hours or 15 semester hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development may be accepted.
