Job Title: School Psychologist 
Job Location: Streetsboro, OH 
Job Type: Contract 

Job Description:  

  • Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students with suspected or identified disabilities. 

  • Participate in the development, review, and discussion of evaluation team reports. 

  • Provide counselling and resources to students, parents, and staff, including referrals to outside agencies. 

  • Consult with administrators and teachers on instructional strategies, interventions, and accountability procedures. 

  • Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and confidential documentation. 

  • Assist staff in adapting instruction and supports to meet diverse student needs. 

  • Report suspected cases of child abuse or neglect in compliance with state law. 

  • Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding student progress and concerns. 

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to district policies and procedures. 

Experience:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology. 

  • Valid Ohio educational certificate/license to practice as a School Psychologist. 

  • Successful completion of required pre-employment screenings. 

  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, counseling strategies, and intervention planning. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with administrators, educators, families, and outside agencies.
