This position offers a completely remote setting, allowing our therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while providing clinical services through telehealth platforms. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify mental health disorders and relational difficulties, using evidence-based methodologies.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and needs while consistently tracking progress and making adjustments when necessary.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical practices in all client interactions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to develop well-rounded treatment approaches.
• Act as an advocate for clients facing crisis situations by providing timely intervention and support.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through supervision and training opportunities, striving to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

The clients served by our clinic come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide range of mental health challenges. From individuals experiencing anxiety and depression to couples navigating relationship issues, our LMFTs provide tailored therapy that respects cultural nuances and promotes understanding. • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• An active LMFT license in the state of California, with no history of disciplinary action.
• A commitment to upholding ethical practices, client confidentiality, and professional integrity in all interactions.
• In-depth knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
• A proven track record of working effectively with diverse populations and promoting inclusivity within the therapeutic process.

We highly value candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, especially those who have worked in community health or similar environments. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and techniques is preferred, as our practice utilizes remote sessions as a primary means of service delivery. Experience in crisis intervention is also advantageous.

Northwell Counselling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
