• Conduct in-depth, engaging therapy sessions focused on the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families, adapting therapeutic techniques to fit each client’s unique situation.
• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to better understand client challenges and devise personalized treatment plans that encourage positive mental health outcomes.
• Document client interactions, treatment progress, and case notes effectively and confidentially, maintaining compliance with relevant state regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with clients by utilizing therapeutic rapport and active listening skills to facilitate open dialogue.
• Act as an advocate for clients, addressing crises promptly and efficiently, with a goal of ensuring their safety and access to appropriate resources.
• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights, strategies, and client progress, enhancing the overall therapeutic approach across the team.
• Manage a balanced caseload while adhering to scheduling expectations and client needs, ensuring timely follow-ups and continuity of care.

This role involves working with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. The therapist will leverage evidence-based methodologies tailored to meet the distinct requirements of each client, embracing cultural sensitivity and a strength-based approach to therapy.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• An active, unrestricted LMFT licensure in California is mandatory.
• An excellent understanding of the ethical and legal frameworks governing therapy practices within California.
• A strong clinical background in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families, demonstrating versatility in therapeutic techniques.
• Skills in crisis intervention and the capacity to respond effectively to emergencies and pressing client issues.
• Ability to navigate various mental health issues and family dynamics, actively collaborating with clients to build effective treatment plans.
• Proficient knowledge of confidentiality requirements under HIPAA and adherence to ethical practices.

• At least two years of experience in providing therapeutic services post-licensure.
• Experience in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for client documentation and communication.
• Familiarity with culturally informed therapy practices that embrace diversity and inclusivity.
