Northwell Counselling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team based in Stockton, California. • Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.
• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients’ mental health concerns and collaboratively create personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed and secure documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Foster trusting relationships with clients and their families, ensuring open communication and addressing any questions or concerns they might have.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergency situations, advocating for client needs and coordinating immediate resources.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development through training opportunities and supervision.
• Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring adherence to timelines while providing responsive care tailored to each client's unique situation.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing a variety of challenges including mental health disorders, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Our clients range from adolescents to adults and include families seeking support in navigating complex interpersonal relationships. You will play a crucial role in facilitating therapeutic processes that lead to positive outcomes and improved quality of life for each client.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted LMFT licensure in the state of California.
• Deep understanding of California’s legal and ethical standards governing therapy practices.
• Strong clinical experience in providing therapy to a diverse clientele—individuals, couples, and families.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism and compassion in high-stress situations.
• Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with familiarity in remote therapy practices.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
