Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of our clients.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify client needs, leveraging solution-focused interventions to establish personalized treatment strategies.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to effectively address the unique challenges faced by each client.
• Document and maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and a dedicated team of mental health professionals to create and optimize care plans, facilitating regular case consultations and peer supervision.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options, empowering them with the knowledge needed to foster a supportive recovery environment.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of advancements in the mental health field and integrating new findings into practice.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Our clientele comes from diverse backgrounds, presenting a wide range of experiences and needs. This role requires sensitivity and cultural competence to establish trust and rapport while delivering person-centered care tailored to each individual's circumstances.

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
• An active professional license in the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, with a strong ability to adjust approaches based on client needs.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, enabling effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Strong analytical thinking skills, with a focus on implementing best practices that enhance clinical outcomes.

While a Bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement for consideration, we value advanced degrees in areas related to mental health counseling, showcasing expertise and dedication to the profession. Candidates with prior experience in community mental health settings or with diverse populations will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms is also a plus.
