Addiction Recovery Tech Shift differentials for Overnights (1$)


Part-time hours are available up to 24 hours per week


Full-time hours available depending on DOQ


Addiction Recovery Tech Level 1: $18/ hour (experience: 0 – 9 months)

  • Good Client care and communication with staff
  • Responsible and dependable with scheduled shifts
  • Learn the basics of our Electronic Health Management System
  • Become Medication Administration certified* through NSR in the first month – Administration of medication or assistance with self-medication
  • A desire to work other shifts at your location if schedule allows
  • Assist in client admission process – including same gender UA’s and simple pat downs when needed
  • Preparing rooms for new admits & learning to conduct Room Searches
  • Perform routine Cleaning Duties for the shift you are hired for
  • Demonstrate good boundaries upon hire and receive guidance for continued growth with boundaries. Observe and report is a critical part of this job.
  • Learn and practice basic De-escalation skills
  • Crisis Management – Understands basic Policy & Procedures

Addiction Recovery Tech Level 2: $19-$20 / hour (experience: 9 months – 18 months)

Ability to perform and show progress of Level 1 duties consistently and responsibly

Including:

  • Continued growth in client care and communication with staff
  • Basic Understanding & knowledge of Intake/Admission process
  • Crisis Management – Comfortable in following a procedure
  • Exhibits Strong Healthy Boundaries/Continued growth in De-escalation techniques
  • Administration of medication or assistance with self-medication

Addiction Recovery Tech Additional duties:

  • Communicates any observed Inventory needs
  • Open to cross training at other facilities
  • Willingness to pick up shifts if needed

Addiction Recovery Tech Level 3: $20-21 (experience: 18+ months)

Performs all Level 1 & Level 2 duties consistently and mentors other

Including

  • High standard of client care, boundaries, and communication with staff
  • Consistently team oriented: Proven willingness to go above & beyond.
  • Mentoring of fellow co-workers/Assists in Training others across all shifts if needed.
  • Assist in mentoring de-escalation & Crisis Management protocols.
  • Good knowledge of Policies & Procedures

Addiction Recovery Tech Additional Duties:

  • Able to work in other facilities if needed.
  • Learn the scheduling process to back up lead schedule.
  • Perform inventory & ordering as needed.

Addiction Recovery Tech Qualifications

  • Comply with MN 245G and program policies and procedures.
  • Acknowledge understanding of Client Rights, per MN 245G.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must complete DHS background check and be cleared to work in human service programs.
  • Be trained in medication administration or assistance with self-medication via one of the following:
  • Successfully completed a medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel through an accredited Minnesota post-secondary educational institution; or
  • Be trained according to a formalized training program which is taught by a registered nurse and offered by the license holder
  • Have current TB/Mantoux screening
