We are hiring a Registered Nurse for our growing team! This position is for 3rd shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm) with shift differentials offered! As a Registered Nurse with ARC,  we offer you the opportunity to work in a dynamic, team-oriented, environment helping individuals overcome substance abuse addiction. The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the System of Care.  The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of persons served/clients as they go through the rehabilitation process. This rewarding profession offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts Nursing Assessments and monitoring of clients
  • Member of the Treatment Team.
  • Handles the medication management; trains staff on medication dispensing.
  • Ensures Universal Precautions of the center.
  • Facilitates Health Education groups including General Health Education, Medication/Drug Interactions.
  • Observe and assess clients for clinical signs and symptoms and follow the prescribed course of treatment.
  • Determines and implements specific protocol as designated by the Doctor.
  • The Nurse is expected to protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care, LLC/ Odyssey, Inc.’s privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with the general principle of professionalism as a health care provider. 
  • Maintain a respectful relationship with clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times displaying a professional disposition towards fellow staff.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and consumers alike.
  • Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise.
  • Ability to interact with a multidisciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.
  • Have the ability to communicate with the Case Manager and assist in ensuring the safety of the client.
  • Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description which is related to work as a member of an addiction treatment team.
  • Must have the ability to interact with staff and clients in a professional manner.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Attention to detail and organization a must.
  • Computer literate with experience in a Windows environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and work-related responsibilities

Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • Active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky 
  • 2 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Substance abuse experience preferred
