In our fully remote setup, you will be part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and addiction specialists. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse history and mental health status to inform treatment plans.
• Design and implement personalized treatment strategies that effectively address both addiction and any underlying mental health challenges.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Work collaboratively with fellow treatment team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to each client’s care.
• Involve and educate families in the treatment process, fostering a supportive network for clients during recovery.
• Maintain precise documentation and records in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring compliance and quality of care.

The primary focus of this role is to serve individuals facing substance addiction challenges, often compounded by co-occurring mental health disorders. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, providing culturally competent care to help them navigate their unique recovery journeys. Your work will help empower them to develop coping skills, manage triggers, and reduce the risk of relapse.

• Must hold an active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Required educational qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training or a strong background in addiction counseling is necessary, with familiarity in treating substance use disorders and their co-morbidities.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices and a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.
• Ability to effectively motivate clients and foster strong therapeutic relationships.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with a collaborative mindset to work effectively across a treatment team.

• Previous experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with case management and the integration of services based on individual client needs.
• A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of mental health and addiction counseling.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials.
