As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Peach Seed Mental Counseling, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and mental health statuses.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that comprehensively address both addiction issues and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions while employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to encourage recovery and resilience.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
• Educating and empowering clients' families about the recovery process and how they can support their loved ones effectively.
• Maintaining meticulous and compliant records of therapy sessions, treatment progress, and client interactions in accordance with all regulatory standards.

You will primarily work with individuals battling substance abuse issues alongside co-occurring mental health disorders in various life stages. Our clients might include young adults seeking to break the cycle of addiction, veterans facing unique mental health challenges, and community members striving for a fresh start. Your ability to connect, motivate, and instill hope in these individuals is crucial to your success and their recovery.

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A valid professional license to practice as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
• Specialized training or direct experience in addiction counseling.
• Deep knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and dual diagnosis cases.
• Strong therapeutic and communication skills, coupled with the ability to effectively motivate clients toward recovery.

The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications.
