We're looking for a process-driven HR professional who thrives in the details of benefits administration, leave management, and compliance. If you bring deep subject matter expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and genuine care for the employee experience, this role is built for you.
Benefits Administration
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all benefit inquiries, providing high-quality service and clear communication to employees.
  • Manage relationships with benefit vendors, broker, and carriers, monitoring cost, service levels, and data accuracy in partnership with the HR Director and CFO.
  • Co-lead open enrollment including communications, employee education sessions, documentation, and reconciliation audits.
  • Conduct ongoing audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance across all benefit plans.
  • Evaluate benefits systems and processes to identify automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop and maintain benefits documentation, standard operating procedures, and training resources.

Leave of Absence & ADA Accommodation Management
  • Administer full-cycle leaves as the subject matter expert on federal and state leave laws, including ADA accommodations.
  • Determine eligibility, track and document leaves, and ensure timely communication with employees and managers.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high-risk leave and accommodation cases
  • Manage ADA accommodation cases by facilitating the interactive process and partnering with employees, managers, and HR Director.
  • Generate leave reports and metrics to support compliance and visibility.
  • Stay current on evolving leave and ADA regulations through ongoing professional development.
  • Provide empathetic, objective guidance during complex leave and accommodation discussions, ensuring consistent application of policy.

Compliance & Workers' Compensation
  • Lead people compliance initiatives, including policy development, SOP creation, and internal guidance.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and required government reporting across the organization.
  • Oversee the full workers' compensation program, including claims management, carrier relationships, return-to-work coordination, recordkeeping, and cost containment.
  • Serves as an active member of the Safety Committee, participating in monthly meetings and supporting workplace safety initiatives.

HR Administration
  • Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, new hire orientation, employee engagement, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Coach and support employees and managers to foster professional growth and alignment with company culture.
  • Assist in the development and facilitation of HR trainings and programs.
  • Maintain HR documentation and SOPs, and support ongoing system and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on benefits, leave of absences, and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite proficiency required.
