Key Responsibilities
  • As a Spellbound Host, you will be the heart of the nightly Spellbound experience, creating magical moments for guests. This role involves hosting captivating performances, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will activate the venue according to the produced schedule, ensuring every detail contributes to an enchanting evening. When not engaged in Spellbound, you will serve as Activity Staff throughout the ship, hosting and emceeing key activities and entertainment programming with an enthusiastic and authentic approach.
  • Lead nightly performances with enthusiasm and charisma, engaging guests from the moment they enter the venue. Maintain a warm, inviting demeanor while interacting with guests, addressing their needs, and enhancing their overall experience. Create, host, train, promote, emcee, and assist all activities and events, creating an engaging and entertaining experience for guests.
  • Embrace MedallionClass products, services, and applications to identify guests and deliver exceptional, personalized service. Take ownership of consistent product delivery and apply the Service Excellence philosophy. Collaborate with other onboard teammates to provide reliable information and updates to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
  • Provide a positive first impression to every guest through a warm, welcoming individual greeting while maintaining a spotless and professional experience. Execute the planned schedule for the Spellbound experience, maintain the Company's standard, participate in onboard safety procedures, and maintain an engaging presence both on and off stage.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Candidates for the role of Spellbound Host must demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental principles of guest experience and hospitality operations. They must also exhibit a commitment to providing exemplary guest service and a willingness to support others in the delivery of the same.  
  • Those who are successful in their candidacy must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and enthusiasm for the implementation of an engaging and high-quality activity program, with a commitment to providing experiences for individuals of all ages and abilities. Furthermore, they must exhibit a clear understanding of the importance of offering a diverse range of activities that cater to the varying interests and abilities of participants.  
  • The candidate must possess a stage style that is confident yet charming, charismatic and energetic. The delivery must be controlled, natural and easy to watch, yet engaging, humorous and endearing. 
  • A comprehensive curriculum vitae is essential. It is important to provide a concise and easily readable overview of one's professional experience. However, if we may offer a suggestion, it is often preferable to present a minimalist approach.
  • Additionally, a brief video presentation showcasing the candidate's personality, communication abilities, and public speaking skills is required.
