Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Activities Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of enriching programs that enhance the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being of Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.
Responsibilities for Activities Coordinator:
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and leading activities and enrichment programs for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.
  • Support the Life Enrichment Director in maintaining a comprehensive calendar of activities, special events, and resident-centered programs.
  • Help recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers to enhance resident engagement and community involvement.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
  • Encourage resident participation by building positive relationships and tailoring activities to resident interests and abilities.
  • Support department operations, including activity preparation, documentation, supply management, and event coordination.
  • Assist with supervising activity staff and volunteers while promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Ensure activities are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations.
  • Provide support during evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.

Qualifications for Assistant Life Enrichment Director:
  • At least one (1) year of experience in senior living, recreation, activities, or a related field preferred.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate residents, staff, and volunteers while fostering a welcoming and engaging environment.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to resident services and activities preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to maintain required state-level certifications or licenses (such as a CDL, if applicable, for resident transportation duties).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
