Duties and Responsibilitiesย
The Life Enrichment Coordinator performs duties involving the planning and implementation of an activity program which meetsย physical, mental and psychosocial needs and interests of residents.ย ย

Comply with the Communityโs personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.ย
Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive Director, RCC or Unit Manager. Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with respect and dignity.ย
Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.ย
Report to work on time and as scheduled.ย
Responsible for planning and implementing activities to meet residentโs specific needs, including large groups, small groups andย individual participation.ย ย
Maintain documentation as required by State and Federal regulations. ย
Responsible for input on Minimum Data Set, participation in plan of care and other assessments and updates.ย Responsible for delivering the residents mail, newsletters and other Community information.ย ย
Coordinated recruitment, retention and involvement of volunteers with residents.ย ย
Coordinate community involvement in the Community.ย
Plan staff functions and activities to increase staff morale. ย
Monitors personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, useย of hazardous material and fire safety.ย
Help coordinate restorative programs that enhance the residentsโ lives and allows them to reach their highest practical level ofย physical and psycho-social well-being.ย ย

โข Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.ย

โข Employee is required to use a transfer/gait belt or to obtain the assistance of another employee when attempting to assistย residents when lifting or carrying objects in excess of 25 pounds. The employee must be aware that during the normal, routineย performance of the essential functions, some of the following body movements may occur naturally, although they may not be aย requirement of the job.ย
