Memory Care Activities Assistant | Life Engagement Assistant | Driver | CNA | HCA
Quail Park of Lynnwood
Are you an outgoing person with experience in a senior living community? Come join the Quail Park of Lynnwood team as a Life Engagement Assistant in our Tribute Memory Care Department! Schedule is Wednesday-Sunday 9AM-5:30PM. Must be able to drive the bus for outings (will provide training).
Our Life Engagement team plans a variety of events and activities to keep our residents stimulated and engaged. As a member of this team, you would plan, assist with, and coordinate these social events and activities. You will also assist the care team with monitoring and supporting residents by keeping up to date on social history profiles and modeling behavior management strategies.
What You'll Do:

  • Assist in implementation of scheduled resident activities
  • Assist, plan, coordinate and participate in a variety of social events, outings, and on-site activities to ensure resident social, emotional, mental and spiritual needs are met
  • Act as a role model to community team members for communication and behavior management strategies and engage residents in meaningful activity and social interaction
  • Ensure all resident activities, outings and events occur according to schedule
  • Assist in recruiting, training and scheduling an adequate number of volunteers to support the community activity program
  • Support the team ensuring all resident care and activity is provided in a safe and effective manner while consistently maintaining resident dignity, choice and respect.
What We're Looking For:

  • At least 1 year experience working in a senior living environment and/or social activity leadership
  • Previous experience working in a memory care setting
  • CNA/HCA
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be ablet to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, guests and other team members
  • Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensure
  • Must maintain current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler’s credentials
  • Proficiency in basis computer skills including MS Word and Excel
