Job description

Summary of Responsibility:

Responsible for the planning, developing, organizing, implementing and directing the activity programs to ensure that the spiritual development, emotional, recreational and social needs of theΒ residents are maintained on an individual basis.

Duties:

  1. Set up and carry out activities as planned
  2. Clean Activity room between activities
  3. Go to apartments to invite residents to activities and assist in getting them back to apartments
  4. Attend Activity Planning meetingsΒ 
  5. Assist volunteers with activities
  6. Transportation as needed
  7. Help with putting up and taking down of holiday themes
  8. Attend all staff meetings

Education and Experience:

  1. Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language.
  2. Must possess, as a minimum, a high school degree or equivalent.
  3. One (1) year experience in working with elderly desired.
  4. Should have creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts and games.
