Job description

Job Summary

The Activities Manager oversees the resort’s Activities operation and team, creating fun, safe, and memorable experiences for guests. This position provides leadership and support across the resort’s Activities and Aquatics operations, including Activities Coordinators, Activities Attendants, Pool Attendants, cabanas, golf carts, e-bikes and scooters, Glow Cart, Stuff-a-Plush, painting, and other recreational offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and oversee daily activities, themed events, seasonal programming, and special events.
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and support Activities Coordinators, Activities Attendants, and Pool Attendants based on operational needs and assigned areas.
  • Oversee cabanas, golf carts, e-bikes/scooters, and other Activities operations.
  • Provide leadership and support to Pool and Waterpark operations during the summer season.
  • Develop new activities and experiences for guests of all ages.
  • Maintain the Campers App activity calendar and assist with guest communications and Marketing.
  • Coordinate outside vendors, including entertainment, food trucks, bands, and fitness/activity providers.
  • Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and activity areas.
  • Ensure activities and recreational areas meet safety, cleanliness, and guest-service standards.
  • Gather guest feedback and continuously improve the Activities program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in recreation, hospitality, tourism, or a similar guest-facing environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and customer-service skills.
  • Experience planning activities or programs preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment.
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate resort golf carts/utility vehicles.
Working Conditions

This is a hands-on, guest-facing position requiring a combination of office and outdoor work. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.
