Job description


Elite Day Center of Columbia is accepting applications for an Activity Director to develop and manage a comprehensive activity and wellness program tailored for our members. The Activity Director will be responsible for designing a monthly events calendar, ensuring that all activities comply with DPH and DHHS regulations.
This role involves researching and liaising with local volunteers and resources to introduce engaging programs and speakers to the center, as well as organizing safe and enjoyable outings for our members. Additionally, the Activity Director will collaborate with Member Assistants to execute daily activity and wellness programming, oversee the activity care plan, and maintain daily documentation and quarterly progress reports for each member.
Experience/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred experience working with elderly and/or young adult disabled individuals
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- CPR Certification (or a willingness to obtain it)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Clean background check and drug test
- Physically willing and capable of assisting members with personal care tasks
Job Type: Full-time
No Weekends or Holidays
Hours of Operation: M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Weekly Pay with benefit eligibility after 30 days of employment
