The Banyan at Montclair is seeking a compassionate, creative, and organized Activities Director to lead and coordinate engaging programs for our residents. This role plays a vital part in enhancing quality of life through meaningful social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities of Activities Director:

  • Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive activities program for residents

  • Organize daily, weekly, and monthly activities, including group and one-on-one programs

  • Coordinate special events, outings, and holiday celebrations

  • Assess residents’ interests and needs to create individualized activity plans

  • Maintain activity calendars and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans

  • Supervise activity staff and volunteers as needed

Qualifications for Activities Director:
