Job description

Brand Activation Manager

At Marios Quality Roofing, Siding & Windows, we believe the home improvement industry should be built on trust, craftsmanship, and doing what we say we'll do. Every home is treated with the same care and attention we'd expect for our own, with an uncompromising commitment to quality materials, skilled craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service. Our team takes pride in showing up when promised, delivering work done right the first time, and ensuring every customer is completely satisfied. Since 2005, that dedication to quality, reliability, and integrity has earned us a strong reputation throughout the communities we serve and continues to drive our growth as a trusted provider of roofing, siding, windows, and other exterior home improvement services.

We're looking for someone who loves being out in the community, building relationships, and creating opportunities that help a business grow. As our Brand Activation Manager, you'll be the face of Mario's Roofing in our new Sudbury market...connecting with homeowners, community organizations, referral partners, and local businesses while bringing our brand to life beyond traditional advertising. If you see opportunities that others miss, if you're energized by networking, enjoy turning ideas into action, and want to make a measurable impact on a growing company, we'd love to meet you.

The Brand Activation Manager is responsible for driving local market awareness, engagement, and community presence across assigned markets. This role serves as the on-the-ground extension of the centralized marketing team, translating corporate marketing strategies into meaningful local activation.

This individual will identify and execute grassroots growth opportunities including community events, sponsorships, referral partnerships, neighborhood engagement, and local brand-building initiatives that strengthen awareness and trust in each market.

The Brand Activation Manager will also serve as the local "eyes and ears" for the organization: providing competitive intelligence, market feedback, and real-time observations that help corporate marketing and leadership make better decisions.

Success in this role requires a unique blend of marketing, relationship-building, business development, and field execution. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, community-oriented, and energized by being in the market building relationships that generate awareness, referrals, and long term brand equity. Success in this role will be determined by:

  • Qualified referral partnerships established
  • Referral-generated leads and revenue
  • Event participation and ROI
  • Sponsorship ROI
  • Local engagement opportunities created
  • Volume of usable local content captured
  • Social content engagement from local assets
  • Competitive intelligence reports delivered
  • Brand awareness improvement in assigned markets
  • Contribution to market share growth

The ideal candidate will notice:

  • Which neighborhoods are buzzing
  • Which competitors are becoming aggressive
  • Which realtors influence local homeowners
  • Which community events actually matter

Key Responsibilities Include:

Local market activation & community presence
  • Develop and execute local activation plans for each assigned market to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Identify high-impact sponsorship, event, and community partnership opportunities
  • Coordinate presence at trade shows, home shows, neighborhood events, and community gatherings
  • Ensure the Mario's brand maintains visible and relevant community presence year-round
  • Evaluate activation opportunities based on expected reach, lead generation, and brand impact (ROI expectations)
Partnership development

Build referral and relationship networks that create long-term lead opportunities, including:

  • Realtors
  • Insurance agents / adjusters
  • Property managers
  • Builders / contractors
  • HOAs and neighborhood associations
  • Local chambers of commerce and business (networking) groups

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing relationships
  • Maintaining regular communication
  • Creating co-marketing opportunities
  • Supporting referral generation initiatives
  • Local contact for corporate sponsorships
Local content capture & brand storytelling
  • Act as the local content engine for corporate marketing by identifying and capturing authentic market-level stories
  • Capture photos and videos of completed jobs, crews, customer stories, storm activity, and community involvement
  • Document before-and-after transformations
  • Gather testimonials and social proof
  • Support creation of localized social media content
  • Surface "content moments" that corporate can amplify through paid and organic channels
  • Post-sale welcome packages - referral initiatives
Competitive & market intelligence

Serve as local market intelligence resource for corporate marketing and leadership. Monitor and report on:

  • Competitor advertising activity
  • Local promotional offers
  • Pricing trends - capture competitive bids
  • New entrants into the market
  • Market sentiment and homeowner concerns

Examples:

  • Competitor billboards appearing in market
  • Aggressive financing offers
  • New canvassing teams after storms
  • Competitor radio / TV campaigns
Corporate Marketing Feedback Loop

Act as liaison between local market operations and centralized marketing.

  • Ensure corporate campaigns are landing effectively in-market
  • Identify gaps between strategy and field execution
  • Surface local opportunities corporate may not see
  • Communicate market-specific needs
  • Help local teams maximize corporate resources
  • Share ideas from sales / competitive activities

Required experience:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in field marketing, community engagement, business development, partnership management, or related "customer engagement focused" experience
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communication, business, or related field preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
  • Highly organized and self-directed
  • Comfortable working independently in market
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel locally and attend events outside traditional business hours
  • Experience capturing basic photo/video content for social media

This position offers approximately $75k annual salary (specific salary to be offered will be determined based on education, experience, and related factors allowable by law) plus $5-10k annual bonus tied to performance with a full benefits package.
