The Sales Activation Manager is responsible for bridging sales and marketing functions to drive revenue growth through campaign planning, sales enablement, and field execution. This role combines field marketing expertise with sales support capabilities to equip sales teams with the tools, content, training, and resources they need to succeed in their territories. The Sales Activation Manager develops and delivers deployable, repeatable, and scalable sales programs and initiatives that directly impact sales performance and business results.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Enablement & Support
  • Develop, create, and maintain sales collateral including presentations, decks, case studies, and proposal templates
  • Design and deliver sales training programs on product knowledge, selling methodologies, and competitive positioning
  • Create and manage sales playbooks, process documentation, and best practice guides
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales teams on deal strategy and customer engagement
  • Build and maintain a centralized library of sales resources and content management system
  • Identify skills gaps and develop targeted coaching plans to improve sales effectiveness
Field Marketing & Campaign Execution
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for assigned regions, territories, or product lines
  • Develop and manage regional marketing campaigns that support sales team objectives and pipeline targets
  • Coordinate field events, customer meetings, and promotional activities that drive revenue
  • Manage territory-specific marketing materials and ensure brand consistency across all channels
  • Work with sales teams to identify market opportunities and develop localized activation strategies
  • Oversee point-of-sale materials, promotional assets, and marketing collateral distribution
Strategy & Planning
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform activation strategies
  • Develop annual activation plans aligned with corporate revenue goals and sales forecasts
  • Create detailed metrics and KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness and enablement ROI
  • Conduct win/loss analysis to identify enablement gaps and optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales Leadership on messaging and positioning
Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and report on sales enablement initiatives, campaign performance, and business impact
  • Monitor sales team adoption of tools, content, and training programs
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and inform strategy adjustments
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for sales leadership on key metrics and program effectiveness
  • Gather feedback from sales teams and implement continuous improvements

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sales support, sales enablement, field marketing, or account management
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales campaigns or enablement programs
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, sales tools (Salesforce), sales enablement platforms (Highspot, Seismic), and B2B selling methodologies
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • AI forward and experience building agents and skills in various models
  • Ability to build strong relationships across sales and marketing teams
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze metrics and draw actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications
  • B2B Cybersecurity background
  • Familiarity with sales enablement platforms (Highspot, Seismic, Showpad, etc.) or LMS platforms

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is US $126,868 to $170,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Bitsight's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus or commission plan and an equity grant. Bitsight also offers a competitive benefits package, including but not but limited to medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid parental leave; flexible time off; a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities; life and disability insurance; and tuition reimbursement.
