Job Description
HII is looking for a qualified Senior Information Technology Specialist (Systems Administrator) to support the Strike Systems Program Office located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This individual will have experience designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint to include creation of workflows and office automation tasks. Additionally, they will support all aspects of AFLCMC/WB IT systems management to include planning, design, acquisition, installation and set-up, testing, accreditation, fielding, support, and disposition of IT equipment, components, and software
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, install, update, and accomplish day-today administration for software and hardware on multiple classified networks
  • Manage IT network equipment to include switches, routers, and both basic and advanced configurations of firewalls
  • Configure and troubleshoot Video Teleconferencing and Voice over IP telephone systems
  • Support analysis and testing to ensure equipment and software additions and upgrades compatible with existing infrastructure
  • Optimize the function and performance of network hardware and software to ensure IT system availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot, identify network problems and develop, coordinate, and implement corrective actions
  • Support tracking of network equipment and software technology obsolescence and help analyze and prepare trades for future maintenance and replacement in support of IT budget planning
  • Provide help desk support for all IT networks and communications systems for on-site and off-site personnel
  • Support IT system back-up, data restoration, and disaster recovery
  • Support basic maintenance for printers, scanners, monitors, and Keyboard Video Monitor (KVM) switches
  • Support preparation of required network cyber (IA) documentation
  • Support all tasks associated with IT operations and maintenance associated with network centric and global grid interoperability requirements, Clinger-Cohen reporting requirements, and other IT certification processes
  • Support self-assessments using the MICT

Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Experience developing standardized procedures for account establishment, system maintenance, and system recovery
  • Experience installing and configuring Linux operating systems in a mixed Linux/Windows environment
  • Experience developing and implementing maintenance and upgrade procedures to minimize disruption of normal business functions of organization within the installation
  • Knowledge of, and experience implementing, DoD and Air Force Technology regulations, services, and instructions to ensure communications and computer services are in compliance with applicable regulations and instructions
  • Experience developing network Standard Operating Procedures, and implementing audits, threat and vulnerability assessments, and applying security-related software tools to manage and control classified information systems
  • Experience managing the configuration of classified information systems
  • Experience with multi-level secure networks and automated cross-domain security solutions
  • Experience uploading and downloading files across classified networks operating at different classification levels, and controlling and recording all incoming and outgoing digital media
  • Experience resolving information systems security incidents.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Experience designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint to include creation of workflows and office automation tasks preferred.

Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
