POSITION OVERVIEW

The Front Office Manager is often times the first person that patients will meet and is responsible for creating a positive experience that makes all patients feel welcome. The Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring that our patients are administratively ready to see our providers.  They are also responsible for reading and understanding insurance verification's, collecting payment for services rendered, explaining payment responsibility to patient and ensuring insurance company and patient are billed correctly. 


ACRM is seeking a full time Front Office Manager to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. 6:30am-4:00pm; Some weekend coverage as needed. Main location is our Perimeter office, but coverage may be required at our other locations based on the needs of the practice. Ideal candidate lives within 10 miles of Perimeter office.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Greets and receives visitors in a warm and professional manner; Answers phones and provides answers to calls or refers them to the appropriate staff 

Checks patients into practice and maintains office flow 

Reviews all paperwork for completion, consents and accuracy

Scans paperwork into the system 

Notifies finance team of any changes in insurance

Collects payments, reads and understands alerts in the system and insurance verification  

Identifies and explains patient balance to patients

Separates charges between two companies, ACRM and CCRM

Analyzes chart to take any adjustments or insurance discounts

Balances credit card machine 

Maintains 6-day report, charge audit report, Finance report, patient image report, and refund report on a daily and weekly basis.  Maintains additional reports as needed.

Maintains cleanliness and order of lobby items 

Counts, orders and distributes supplies at main location; ensures that inventory is current and accurate

Maintains office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipates needed supplies; places and expedites orders for supplies

Schedules equipment service and repairs

Requirements

Associates Degree required Minimum 1-2 years of office-based customer service experience Must be able to read and analyze insurance benefits and communicate insurance benefits to patients. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Excellent customer service skills required Proficient in Microsoft Office Must be detailed oriented with ability to multi-task and work independently
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance Ability to push, bend, pull and twist Excellent attendance and punctuality commitment
