What You Will Do:
The FDA account is seeking a new team member to support high-level federal data analytics and acquisitions activities for our client. In this role, the individual will be responsible for gathering, compiling, and presenting acquisition and budgetary data for our clients while also supporting their acquisition-related activities such as Federal purchase card management, contracting, grants, interagency agreements, and more. This is a great opportunity to make immediate impacts for a large federal organization as our team has been tasked to provide continuous data support to drive client decision making as well as supporting a top-to-bottom overhaul of the organization's acquisitions processes. Ideal candidates will have some prior experience delivering data-driven solutions for federal clients as well as familiarity with Federal acquisitions and strong project management skills. Candidates will also need to be able to work effectively with a wide range of federal stakeholders and will need to be able to keep our federal partners on track to complete deliverables on time and in a manner that meets project objectives.
What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management, or equivalent work or military experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience working in federal acquisitions IAA/PCard/Budget Planning and cost appropriation data analysis

  • Has the ability to identify and address client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned work in a manner that meets project requirements while still meeting assigned deadlines

  • Demonstrates the ability to assist in the development of client deliverables and supporting solution methods prescribed by supervisors and managers.

  • Competency using Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent writing and proofreading abilities

  • This position requires successful completion of a background check and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (I.e. US Citizenship required)


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Prior experience supporting Federal acquisitions efforts, ideally involving the entire Federal contract lifecycle

  • Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) understanding

  • Annual Federal budget process understanding

  • Ability to work alongside software developers and to gather requirements from clients, translate them into system functionalities, and work with a development team to realize them

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification

  • SharePoint management and development experience

  • Experience with the following programs: Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, Visio, and JIRA

  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization methods
