Job description

As part of the firm-wide access project, and specifically focused on unstructured data governance, this candidates role will be to interface with various business units to assure that they understand the scope of the initiative, the desired outcomes and the process to gather information and recertify permissions.

Once they have met with the business units and obtained an information asset inventory they will need to work closely with the Access and Identity Management (AIM) team to generate usage, permission reports and stage a permission recertification via our automated systems. Below are the key abilities and skills that will be required by the candidate.

Ability to interact with business users to explain the details of the un-structured data project and work with them closely and help them understand the initiative Ability to interpret and understand Information Security data classification standards and definitions Ability to prepare presentations and run kick-off meetings independently with business users and answer their questions Ability to be an interface between the business, project lead and technical teams within BlackRock, working as a team player Ability to provide status reports, meet project deadlines promptly and escalate any road-blocks and/or issues Ability to run and interpret various permission reports using automated tools.

Strong understanding of Active Directory, shared folder and Microsoft SharePoint permissions Experience with Varonis DataVantage and/or DataPrivilege tools is a plus. Good Microsoft Office skills especially Excel (pivot data) and PowerPoint Strong communication and analytical skills.
