JOB OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the overall organization of all marketing collateral (in electronic form as well as printed form) and facilitates all video, content, photo and design requests for Acqualina Resort as well as The Mansions at Acqualina.

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the development of the Acqualina Resort and The Mansions at Acqualina social media strategy and blog strategy, manages all social media platforms and actively researches for new findings, analyzes and documents all progress on a monthly and quarterly basis. This position also contributes to the overall promotional marketing strategy for Acqualina Spa By ESPA, Piazzetta at Acqualina and Acqualina Wedding segments.

The Marketing Coordinator uses graphic design capabilities to design collateral pieces as needed- for digital as well as printed purposes.

The Marketing Coordinator also holds administrative responsibilities.

REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: Food and Beverage Team, Spa Team, AcquaMarine Team, Human Resources Team, Sales and Marketing Team, all Resort Managers and Department Heads, Executive Offices and The Mansions at Acqualina team.

External: Sabre Hospitality Solutions, Brandlink Communications, several online partners such as Startle, Grace Ormond, Bridal Circle..etc. and Social Media Fan Base.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, public relations, graphic design or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management.
  • Fluency in English. Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication.
  • Excellent English writing and grammar skills.
  • Strong time management skills. Marketing Coordinator must be proactive and push creative processes along to meet all deadlines on time.
  • Ability to turn projects around on a speedy timetable and with accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of company's products, and selling skills.
  • Excellent time management, communications, decision making, human relations, presentation and organization skills.
  • Ability to:
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

  • Experience with InDesign & Adobe.

COMMUNICATION

  • Keep open communication with Marketing Manager at all times.

  • Hotel sales office experience, on property preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare and maintain marketing timeline for all hotel outlets, timeline for social media initiatives and timeline for blog schedule, together with the Marketing Manager.
  • Prepare and maintain marketing timeline for The Mansions at Acqualina together with the Marketing Manager.
  • Maintain and assist with the development of Acqualina’s and The Mansions at Acqualina’s social media messaging (currently on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest and Instagram coming soon) and blog content and promotional content. Messaging should stay in line with current trends. Our main goals are to a.) introduce our brand to consumers on a personal level b.) gain promotion awareness c.) drive traffic to www.acqualina.com and www.mansionsatacqualina.com and d.) influence consumers to book and buy.
  • Document all social media findings for Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest and Instagram on a weekly and monthly basis. Share worthy findings to Acqualina Sales Team, Acqualina Managers and The Mansions at Acqualina team.
  • Stay educated on social media and digital marketing trends and upcoming platforms. Propose new and fresh ideas for social media campaigns, sweepstakes and enhancements.
  • Place key messaging on all distribution channels including website, eblast, social media, blogs and online partners for Acqualina Resort and The Mansions at Acqualina.
  • Maintain Marketing Binder, note worthy findings in a concise, organized manner for Acqualina Resort and The Mansions at Acqualina.
  • Produce internal marketing pieces such as the weekly activity sheet, monthly poster and all portraits for Acqualina Resort.
  • Use graphic design skills to create marketing pieces- digital and print.
  • Assist with all partnership and marketing placements for Acqualina Resort.
  • Work closely with Acqualina Department Head managers to develop blog content. Pull content from slated promotions to create blog content.
  • Act as photographer and photo editor when needed.
  • Assist in coordination of photo shoots and film shoots to include B Roll.
  • Maintain an organized media library for The Mansions at Acqualina and Acqualina Resort. Assist with photo/ video requests.
  • Coordinate the design and delivery of promotional email blasts as outlined on the marketing communication/timeline plans for Acqualina Resort and The Mansions at Acqualina.
  • Assist with the maintenance of organized database (lists) on the shared drive and in the exact target tool for Acqualina Resort and The Mansions at Acqualina. Update and segment lists as necessary.
  • Assist with the development of marketing events.
  • Participate in relevant key local events.
  • Prepare yearly strategy and actions for certain section of the marketing plan (due in September) for Acqualina Resort and The Mansions at Acqualina.
  • Further develop Acqualina’s General Mills Box Top for Education Program.
  • Take active role in the annual I Have a Dream Foundation gala by providing social media support.
  • Accept additional responsibilities as needed.
