The program provides a discount on monthly broadband internet bills and, in some cases, a one-time discount on a computer or tablet. Eligibility is typically based on income level or participation in certain government assistance programs. The goal is to ensure that everyone has access to reliable, high-speed internet for work, school, healthcare, and more.

Professionals working on the ACP (Affordable Connectivity Program) often encounter challenges such as navigating complex eligibility requirements, effectively reaching underserved communities, and staying updated with regulatory changes. Addressing these challenges requires strong communication skills to explain program benefits, collaboration with community organizations for outreach, and ongoing professional development to keep pace with evolving guidelines.
